History
Hollywood started visiting Palm Springs in the 1950s with such Stars as Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Walt Disney and Lucille Ball. Palm Springs being only two hours from most Hollywood film studios was just far enough away from the spotlight. Today you can still see the legacies of many of the true old Hollywood Legends with their Stars gracing the sidewalks as you stroll down Palm Canyon Drive.
